Scandic Hotel Rovaniemi

   
This hotel was built in 1992 and is located in the centre of Rovaniemi. There are 167 rooms in the hotel and all the rooms are renovated in 2004. Other services are restaurant, lobby bar, gymnasium and three saunas on the top floor, one with a beautiful Jacuzzi. For conferences there are five meeting rooms of 6-120 seats with basic AV equipment. All rooms are equipped with shower, telephone, mini bar and hairdryer. Scandic Hotel chain has been the leader in environmental issues by making numerous everyday decisions towards sustainable tourism.

Sokos Hotel Vaakuna

  
Sokos Hotel Vaakuna located in the centre and close to River Kemijoki, has total 159 rooms with 2 suites. All of the bathrooms were renovated in 2010. Also the two public saunas in the basement have been completely renovated. In the same building you can find an á la carte restaurant Fransmanni and texmex restaurant Amarillo and a popular nightclub ”Doris”. For conferences there is one meeting room of maximum 36 seats. All rooms are equipped with shower, cable-TV, telephone, minibar, hair dryer, trouser press, iron+ironing board and central air conditioning. The hotel is located in the heart of the town.

Hotel Rantasipi Pohjanhovi

  
Pohjanhovi, situated in the centre of town by the river Kemijoki, is full of genuine Lapland spirit. The hotel has 212 rooms from which 164 room were renovated during 2008-2009. The superior rooms have a beautiful view over the river. The hotel has a dance restaurant, a nightclub “Night Life”, a restaurant, a karaoke bar and a lobby bar as well as four saunas and swimming pool (length 19 m). All rooms are equipped with shower/bath, toilet, TV/Pay-TV, minibar, telephone and hairdryer. For conferences there are 11 meeting rooms, and 8 group-work rooms for 5 to 15 persons. The largest meeting room for 180 persons was also renovated in 2008-2009.

Santa's Hotel Santa Claus

  
This newest hotel was opened to the center of Rovaniemi in December 2001. There are 168 rooms equipped to high standard including four suites with their own sauna and family rooms with connecting doors, a restaurant “Gaissa” with both Lappish and international cuisine, café & bar “Zoomit”, grill & bar ZoomUp, two saunas and play areas for children. All rooms are equipped with bath, mini safe, trouser press, iron, hair dryer, mini bar, telephone, Pay TV and a kettle. In April 2008 lounged Santa Claus Conference Center located in the basement has 6 new meeting rooms for 20 to 100 persons. Three biggest rooms can be connected to one large space (250 m²) seating about 300 persons in theatre style.

City Hotel
 

An international family owned hotel set right in the very centre of town next to shopping areas. There are 21 standard rooms, 34  comfort rooms, 33 superior rooms and 3 Junior Suites with own sauna, each with its character. 69 rooms were renovated in 2010.

Restaurant Monte Rosa and Pub Kellari are also popular amongst the locals. Top floor has a sauna department with two saunas, a dressing room and a pleasant lounge with fireplace is heated for the hotel guests and also available for private usage.

Ounasvaaran Pirtit Holiday Village
  

Ounasvaaran Pirtit Holiday Village is located 3 kms from Rovaniemi town centre on the foot of Ounasvaara hill. Close to the holiday village there are excellent cross country skiing tracks as well as down hill skiing lopes.

There are a total of 28 cabins for two persons in semi-detached houses (1-4 persons), two beds in the room and two beds on the open loft.

A bit bigger choices are a total of 20 cabins for four persons in semi-detached houses (1-6 persons), four beds in two bedrooms and convertible sofa in the living room plus 18 cabins for four persons in semi detached houses (1-6 persons), two bedrooms – the other bedrooms with two extra beds
