Environmental values are core values for us; they always have been thanks to our environmentally-conscience ownership. In all our travel adventures, we operate in a way consistent with the preservation of nature. Our cabin holidays are certified according to the environmental standards of ISO 14 001. In all our actions we aim at saving natural resources, energy and water. We also support the use of renewable energy.
We decrease the amount of waste, and we will recycle it appropriately. This is remarkable when considering the number of cabins, lodges and property we have and the number of visitors we handle each year.
We respect local culture and traditions, as they too are a part of the experiences we offer. You will find locally produced food in many of the restaurants we own or co-operate with. The North has countless traditions and in many ways people still lead a traditional way of life.
We act according to our long-term goals, and our profitability complements local economical and cultural values. For all our activities, we favor local operators and suppliers and tirelessly research the services we use. We rely on our extensive network and good, long-term partners. Through our network we support the employment of 90 people and train our partners in the development of sustainable tourism.
